Our Juris Doctor (J.D.) program will provide all the training required for a new career as a California attorney.

The East Bay Law School campus borders Lake Merritt in Oakland

With our four-year Juris Doctor degree you will be able to sit for the California Bar Exam to become a licensed California attorney*.

*First-year law students must also pass the First Year ("Baby Bar") exam.

East Bay Law School has received approval to operate from the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education ("Bureau").  The Bureau has determined that East Bay Law School's operational plan satisfies the minimum standards listed in Education Code (CEC) Section 94900 or 94915, whichever is applicable.  East Bay Law School is registered with The State Bar of California.
