At this time, East Bay Law School is conducting its search for a new Dean of the Law School.  In the interm, Associate Dean Beverly Baker Kelly will serve as acting Dean.

 
   

Dear Prospective Student:

 

Thank you for the opportunity to answer your questions regarding admission to East Bay Law School.  The enclosed information will answer frequently asked questions.  Additional information, a catalog, and an on-line registration form can be found on the internet at www.eastbaylawschool.org.

 

East Bay Law School is an California registered unaccredited law school.  East Bay Law School is registered with The Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California. At our conveniently located campus, we accept regular, special, and transfer students.

Typically, students take approximately 9 units a semester, allowing them to graduate with a Juris Doctor degree in four years.  The tuition is affordable at $495 per semester unit.  No financial aid is available.  Upon the passing of the First Year Law Students’ Examination and thereafter successfully completing all courses of study, students are eligible to take the General Bar Examination.  Success on the General Bar Examination enables graduates to be admitted to practice law in California.

  

The typical student entering East Bay Law School is over 30, and working full time.  Students can expect excellent, interactive instruction and tutoring by student-friendly lawyers; approximately nine hours of instruction each week; Bar Exam preparation and legal writing classes; an on-site law library; and a quiet place to study.  To “sample” law school, prospective students are welcome to attend a Thursday night information session, take a campus tour, and/or audit any of our classes.
